Our Story
Hi! My name is Julie Davis, and I am the founder of Heads & Tails LLC. For 10 years I dedicated my life to being an RVT caring for my patients in the hospital and although I loved my career, I was ready for something new...but what? How can I use my skills and my passion to work with pets and be my own boss? And then it hit me! As a veterinary nurse I have helped countless pets with basic grooming needs like toenail trims, ear flushing and a bath, all because they were unable to see a standard groomer. Pets with conditions like seizures, heart murmurs and diabetes are at high risk of a stress related episode during their groom. Pets with limited mobility are often turned away due to the groomer being unable to work around the pet's condition. So, I have decided to take my pet handling skills and my knowledge as an RVT and apply it to the pets that need a nurse's touch when it comes to their bath, because every pet deserves a clean and comfortable life. -Julie Davis, Founder

Our services are designed to meet the unique needs of ageing pets and pets with physical limitations. From harnesses to help your pet stand for their groom to padded cushions added to our bathtub and table to help protect their bones and joints.
*** If your pet does NOT do well with stress, please partner with your veterinarian to see if your pet is a candidate for mild sedatives for conditions like seizures, moderate to severe heart murmur, diabetes etc. Sometimes giving your pet a mild sedative (prescribed by your pet's Veterinarian only) can help take the edge off, reducing the chance of a stress related flare up that may be associated with your pet's condition ***
